Bekka Fink, Priestess of Green Production
My primary career at this time, after years of training and teaching in many other disciplines, is professional organizing and coaching. In addition to my skills in event management and production, I have over 10+ years of training and experience as a personal chef, specializing in French cuisine, sustainable organic food, and extensive wine knowledge. I owned and managed my own catering company in New York, and prior to that was a manager and supervisor at several top restaurants in both New York and San Francisco.
In addition to my recent production and management work during the Inauguration (details below), I have supervised and produced events for up to 5,000 people at major venues in San Francisco, including The Exploratorium, Fort Mason, San Francisco City Hall, and Napa Wineries. I have also produced extensive events, galas, tours for traveling theater troupes (SF Mime Troupe), and a 3-week Women’s Music and Dance festival, which included an opening night circus arts gala. In addition to serving extensively in almost every area of event production and management, I have produced two film shorts, and worked on the production teams of independent and Hollywood feature films, as well as for network television.
In closing, I have enjoyed performing as a professional actress, singer, and bandleader/composer for over 25 years, which has included being a lead vocalist in numerous bands (www.bekkasfrogland.com), Broadway National Tours, international music tours (France, Germany, Holland), and opera productions (Bangkok, Thailand). Some of the ways I enjoy keeping myself and the people around me centered and balanced are via my training and practice of shiatsu and thai massage, as well as yoga. I also speak French fluently.
